[IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ON DEADLINE EXTENSION & EXPANSION OF ELIGIBILITY]

The Johnny Agim, SAN Foundation [JASAN Foundation] is pleased to announce the extension of the timeline for the Close of Applications for the 2nd Edition of its #Legacy500 Elite Mentees Sponsorship/Scholarship Programme and Essay Competition to accommodate more applicants.

The application deadline has been extended from Monday, 6th October 2025 to midnight of Monday, 13th October 2025, to ensure all interested applicants have sufficient time to complete their submissions.

This extension is also to incorporate an expanded eligibility to include prospective Nigerian Law School Candidates who graduated within the past 24 months from any recognised Federal or State University in Nigeria.

The Foundation recognises that in addition to the current 500 Level / Final Year Law Students, there are more amply qualified and indigent law graduates awaiting admission into the Nigerian Law School and who can benefit from this nouvelle elite scholarship programme.

This extension, expansion, and inclusion, therefore, is to ensure fairness and gives room for the highest quality of submissions from across the country. It further reflects the Foundation’s commitment to accessibility and support for passionate law graduates who, though qualified, may be unable to proceed to Law School due to financial or systemic delays. It ensures that no promising future legal practitioner is left behind.

These updates further demonstrate the Foundation’s mission to invest in the next generation of elite legal minds and ensure that financial limitations do not hinder access to legal education and mentorship at the highest level.

The Application Closing Date is now EXTENDED to: Monday, 13th October 2025.
