Our Board
The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees of 10 eminent personalities including the JASAN Foundation Vice-President. They are drawn from a wide field of experience, cutting across leadership, law, strategy, governance, and business.
Our Governance Structure
The Foundation shall work with the following Board and Committees, amongst others:
- The Faculty Board
- Nominating and Selection Committee
- Institutional Policy Committee
- Budget and Compensation Committee
- Investment Committee and
- Audit Committee
In addition, from time to time, the Board of Trustees upon the recommendation of the President appoints ad-hoc committees to address specific issues that impact on the objectives of the Foundation. Through the work of the Board and its Committees, the Board sets policies and strategic direction for the Foundation, approves mentorships, sponsorships, grants, initiatives, oversees investments, and the audit process. The Board also reviews the performance of the President on an annual basis and approves his/her compensation and reviews compensation for Senior Staff on an annual basis. The Board of Trustees is guided by the Foundation’s Constitution and the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020 in carrying out its function.
