Couched in Latin, “Aedificans Legatum Legitimum!”, which means “Building a lasting Legacy!” is targeted at the core of our ultimate vision for young lawyers, the legal profession, the justice sector in Nigeria and for Nigerian lawyers globally.

Our Core Values

Our organisational values are designed to help everyone who works with us to achieve our goal of building a lasting legacy through “GISIDE | CARP”.

These values are:

We create a climate of trust inside and outside the Organisation by being open, honest, and transparent. We hold ourselves and others accountable for the decisions we make and for our impact on others, while doing what we say we will do. We therefore strive to achieve significant and lasting impact, by challenging ourselves to work with integrity whilst ensuring inclusivity as we strive for excellence.

Further, we respect all people, are professional, appreciate dynamism and diversity in our programmes and workplace. We empower our target recipients to give their best and develop their potential; thus, we succeed by working effectively as a community with all our stakeholders, including our sponsors and donors; as we actively support young and indigent lawyers, helping them to achieve their professional goals and making transgenerational impact.

Finally, our shared core values and behaviours pursued with grit are our guiding principles for how we work, interact with others, and impact the legal and judicial space. These help to foster a culture of openness, accountability and transparency which allows innovation, experimentation, and transgenerational influence.
